Introductory sessions

Introductory sessions equip you with the basics in a one-to-one setting, so I can ensure - once you join a group - that you understand how to move safely.

It also gives you an opportunity to discuss with me any health issues you may have. We can set your goals and objectives, so I can adapt my teaching to your needs.

Group classes

Small face-to-face, friendly classes where I provide feedback and modifications of exercises to best suit your body.

I often use small props to challenge your proprioception and bring variety to the exercises.

Leave feeling taller and more flexible.

I adapt exercises to suit you.

These classes are mixed ability.

Private Pilates

Private classes are ideal for those clients who need a little more ‘one-on-one time’. These hour-long sessions in my quiet garden studio can be tailored for specific physiotherapy rehabilitation.

I can devise a programme of exercises specifically for your needs. My aim is always to treat the root cause of your problem.

Private Reformer Pilates

These sessions centre on a wonderful piece of equipment called the reformer.

This gliding platform makes hundreds of graceful, smooth-flowing exercises possible - stretching and strengthening you from head to toe!

Online Pilates

This is the same workout as when I see you in person, but in the comfort of your own space. I will aim to improve your everyday movement from head to toe.

I will focus on balance and connecting with your core, keeping you focussed on strong, stable movements to leave you feeling lengthened, toned and energised.

A recording is available for those attending in-person classes.

Gentle
Restorative
Pilates

Sitting and standing pilates classes. Tailored for those with existing problems that make it difficult to complete all the exercises in a mixed ability class.

Exercises are done sitting and standing, with no lying down on the mat.

Garden Studio.

Station Road. Marple.

You are welcome to park on the drive. Some people find it easier ( as the road can be quite busy) to park in Asda car-park and it is only a short walk to the Garden Studio.

Walk down the drive and come through the side gate. It’s a good idea to have been to the toilet before you come as there is no bathroom, and arrive on time as there is no waiting area.

Rehabilitation Pilates.

My Physiotherapy background combines very effectively with Pilates for patients who need rehabilitation. By using advanced body awareness and manual therapy techniques, I can help you to recover your overall fitness following an injury, surgery or hospital treatment.
